Ivana Vio

IVANA VIO

Architect • Designer • Pioneer Artist

Graduated "Magna cum Laude" in Architecture from Milan Polytechnic with a Master in Design & Management, Ivana Vio is the only artist worldwide mastering integrated precious stone-metal backlit sculpture techniques.

Artistic Foundation: Her journey began at age 14, winning the Special Jury Prize from Turin's "La Stampa" newspaper. In the 1980s, she trained in traditional metal techniques with master engraver Quinto Testore in Genoa, learning etching, embossing, and electro-galvanic processes that would later revolutionize stone sculpture.

Technical Innovation: Since 2005, she has developed proprietary LED integration systems that transform stone and metal into luminous poetry. Her revolutionary technique combines 40+ years of chemical etching expertise with 20 years of LED integration mastery.

International Recognition: From the first Digital Art cover in Parisian magazine "Plages" (1993) to exhibitions across Europe, Brazil, Russia, and the USA, her work bridges Italian craftsmanship with contemporary global vision.

Nordic Mission: From 2025, Ivana brings her luminous sculptures to Northern Europe, creating cultural dialogues between Mediterranean passion and Scandinavian design philosophy.
